Govt Technical & Vacational Centre
Gulbahar Peshawar

Youth engagement in demand driven skillful training in sync with the market based technology for improved employ-ability and meaningful contribution to the socioeconomic development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Managing Director's Message

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) has emerged as a cornerstone for developing a competent and skilled workforce, particularly in light of the rapidly changing global job market and increasing demand for practical expertise. In today’s dynamic economic landscape, countries across the world are realizing that traditional academic education alone is not sufficient to meet the diverse needs of modern industries. Consequently, TVET is gaining greater significance as it provides individuals with hands-on skills, technical knowledge, and professional competencies that are directly aligned with the requirements of both national and international labor markets.

Globally, successful TVET systems are founded on three vital pillars: strong political will and support from Governments, active participation and collaboration of a responsible and responsive Industry, and the presence of quality-driven training institutions committed to excellence. When these three pillars function harmoniously, they create a robust ecosystem that nurtures skilled professionals capable of contributing meaningfully to the development of society and the economy. In essence, the strengthening of TVET is not just an educational reform—it is a strategic investment in the nation’s human capital and its sustainable future
